How is this dish different than other Eggs Benedictine?

Today I tried a new Eggs Benedictine style that is unique. Eggs Benedictine with western style omelet. It is served with bacon, English muffin, roasted small potatoes, Hollandaise sauce and fruits.

Usually the way I saw Eggs Benedictine is served with sunny fried eggs, English muffin smoked salmon with capers or brie with mushrooms or any other combinations. Surprisingly, this version was with an omelet and I never seen this dish served with an omelet and not just any omelet, western omelet. The chef still kept the classics of English muffin and hollandaise sauce.

Where do you find this Yummy Dish?

I found these Unique eats at L'Oeuficiel. When I hear L’Oeuficiel I think Official Eggs in French. L’Oeuficiel is a Lunch and breakfast restaurant specializing in Eggs, bacon and potatoes as well as French specialty pastries. It is a family owned business. It has a diverse variety of dishes. This place serves much higher class breakfast than other places. It has a variety of different breakfast combinations from omelet, French Toast, Chocolatine, Brioche, waffles, crepes and much more. What Makes this place different than other places  is their fruits. The fruits they serve has more variety and they are more fresh and good looking than other breakfast places I ate. It contains kiwi, grapes and pineapple, ingredients that other restaurants don’t serve. The fruits are very fresh and good looking. I find them more appealing.

The downfall is they have a very limited variety of coffee than other places. Instead they have a larger variety of smoothies. Their smoothies are made with orange juice base for those who like it. I didn’t try those yet. Personally, I prefer the ones that are more creamy and made with yogurt base.

I like the taste of this dish. I must admit that it is very distinct than all the other Eggs Benedictine dishes I ate. I believe it is an acquired taste over time. I find it very creative and original idea to come up with an adventurous way to spice up Eggs Benedictine than what we are used to and give it a different personality and taste. I never thought about putting an omelet as Eggs Benedictine not even Western style omelet.
